Which Cartridge?

12 & 18 Pin – These cartridges are ideal to improve acne scars, wrinkles, fine lines, melasma, rosacea, hyperpigmentation and collagen induction. Some people will opt to use a numbing cream on prepped and cleansed skin. Ultimately this depends on the depth, experience of the user and if they are using the device for a professional treatment or as an at home treatment.

24, 36 & 42 Pin – These cartridges are ideal to improve skins hydration levels, visibility of stretch marks, visibility of large pores. As with the lower pin cartridges some people will opt to use a numbing cream on prepped and cleansed skin. Ultimately this depends on the depth, experience of the user and if they are using the device for a professional treatment or as an at home treatment.

Nano – These cartridge types stay in the epidermis. They are great for Stayve BB Glow treatments, to improve skin tone, combat fine lines, help products to penetrate the skin more easily and can encourage brow hair regrowth. Nano cartridges can be used more regularly which makes them ideal for use at home and will not require any numbing cream.

Needle Lengths

• The needle length you choose to use depends on the kind of results you are wishing to achieve.
• 1mm and below will help even out skin texture and hyperpigmentation, but won’t be as effective for reducing scarring. This length is also perfect for those who wish to improve the efficacy of their serums as the ingredients will penetrate deeper into the skin. The deeper the product can get into your skin, the more effective it will be.
• 1mm – 2.5mm is recommended for those who are professionally trained in microneedling. The higher depths can improve the appearance of acne scarring, fine lines and stretch marks. Remember multiple treatments are required for improvement in the appearance of these issues, performed roughly once every 4 weeks.
